The Kelpies
The Kelpies sculptures are the largest works of art in Scotland, and the largest equine sculptures in the world.
Sculptor Andy Scott was on hand for the opening, along with Duke, a Clydesdale horse which was one of the actual models for the 30m ( 100 ft ) works. The Kelpies Falkirk are each made from 300 tonnes of steel.
More than two million people have visited the Kelpies since they were opened in April 2014.
Doune Castle – Game of Thrones and Outlander tours

Once a Royal residence, Doune Castle was rebuilt by Robert Stewart, Duke of Albany in the late 14th century .
