Doune Castle Outlander season 8 filming

Outlander prequel star, Harriet Slater, has revealed the cast were visited by Caitríona Balfe ( Claire Fraser ) on the set of Blood of my Blood as filming for the series continues in Scotland.

Outlander filming took place at Doune Castle on 30 and 31 May. I visited Doune on June 1 and all that was left was this carriage .

Caitríona Balfe ( Claire Fraser ) has started filming the eighth and final season of Outlander while the prequel Blood of my Blood is also being filmed in Scotland . The two productions share the same film  studio at Wardlaw Studios in Cumbernauld .
