Balvaird Castle is a picturesque and well-preserved late‑medieval tower house in Perthshire, Scotland now a prime filming location for Outlander Blood of my Blood season 1 and 2 as the home of Simon Fraser , Lord Lovat , played by veteran Scottish actor Tony Curran .
